“My goal is to evoke in the viewer a feeling of peaceful harmony and balance while revealing a moment in time and place. I find watercolor, with all the subtle atmospheric impressions, to be my preferred medium.”
Rich’s paintings have received awards and have been juried into several shows including the Scituate Arts Association’s Juried Show, the All New England Open Juried Exhibit, the Hull Artists regional juried show, and the Hull Lifesaving Museum juried exhibit. Many of his works are in private collections. He is a member of the Hull Artists, the Scituate Arts Association, the South Shore Art Center and the Hull Lifesaving Museum. Rich’s paintings are also regularly exhibited at Gallery Nantasket, Hull, MA.
