Cathy McCarthy

Cathy McCarthy studied graphic design and illustration at UMass Dartmouth and continued

her studies in Fine Art at the Corcoran in DC and UVM in Vermont. While in the DC area, Cathy worked in galleries and was the co-owner of Creative Framing frame shop and gallery while beginning her career as a freelance artist. Some of her most treasured accomplishments are in the public art projects that she worked on; including murals in California and Vermont.

Cathy now lives in Scituate with her husband, Kevin, her doggie, Samson, and a lot of family close by! Her studio in Marshfield is where she spends most of her creative time, if she isn't there she is outside hiking or kayaking.
