Color, light and forms found in nature drive my painting subjects. I find inspiration outdoors and through traveling. Nature, whether trees, gardens, landscapes or bringing nature into still life settings are my favorite subjects. I work with both brush and knife, appreciating how acrylic allows me to build layers of color to create depth. My goal is to express ideas with impactful and expressive strokes, simplifying forms to enhance color and light and creating paintings that bring the outside in.
From an early age, I’ve been involved with creative expression and art. My 42-year entrepreneurial marketing career allowed me to express those creative energies – working with food, chefs, graphic and structural designers, photographers and stylists.
I’ve been a South Shore resident for the past 38 years, currently living in Hingham.
